Privacy Policy

Overview
Send It ("we", "our", or "the app") is a team calendar app built for youth mountain bike teams. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We take the privacy of minors seriously and collect only what is necessary to run the app.
Information we collect
We collect the following when you use the app:
- Account information — your email address and display name, used to identify you within your team.
- Profile photo — optional. Uploaded photos are stored securely and visible only to members of your team.
- RSVP and attendance data — which events you plan to attend and your guest count.
- Chat messages — messages sent within the team chat are stored and visible to all team members.
- Device token — used to send push notifications about upcoming events. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
How we use your information
- To display your name and photo to other members of your team.
- To track RSVPs and attendance for team events.
- To send push notifications for upcoming events and announcements.
- To enable team chat between coaches, riders, and guardians.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties except as described below.
Data storage and security
All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage), which provides industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Access to your team's data is restricted to authenticated members of that team through Firebase Security Rules.
Children's privacy
Send It is used by youth sports teams and may be accessed by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Accounts for minors should be created and managed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child's information has been collected without consent, please contact us so we can remove it promptly.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Google Firebase — our cloud database and storage provider.
- Apple / Google — device push notification services.
Your choices
- Update your profile — edit your name or photo in the Profile tab at any time.
- Disable notifications — turn off push notifications in your device's Settings app.
- Delete your account — contact us and we will remove your account and associated data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
